You will advocate for student well-being, collaborate with educators, families, and community organizations to help every child thrive, and provide counseling and crisis support as part of a school-based team.

The role emphasizes coordination of services, strong communication with school staff, and maintaining compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Social Worker.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development, crisis intervention, and behavioral support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess student needs and coordinate appropriate services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with district and legal policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and advocate for student-centered strategies.
