Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High degree of organization, self-initiative, and accuracy in work performed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cook and temp items in the prep kitchen.
• Provide feedback to the School Nutrition Supervisor and Coordinator about menu items and process improvements.
• Ensure that food is held at the correct temperature.
• Project a positive and courteous attitude and image to staff, students, and community.
• Possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ensure that equipment and the area are thoroughly clean at the end of each working day, week, and school year.
• Maintain professional competence through staff development activities provided by the District and in compliance with Wisconsin law.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.
