Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and clientele.
• ServSafe certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cook Supervisor with any preparation needs.
• Set up serving lines: place pans in hot steam table, push or pull cart with food items.
• Follow standardized recipes and count portions.
• Ensure that food is labeled and dated appropriately by standards.
• Ensure that time and temperature logs are up-to-date and accurate.
• Comply with and complete food safety documentation requirements.
• Handle cash and make change accurately.
• Serve food to students and other customers with a positive attitude.
• Restock food and condiments, maintaining adequate levels.
