Job summary

Natick Public Schools seeks a part-time Substitute Food Service Worker (0.4 FTE) to provide coverage across district locations. Immediate start with opportunities to support daily meals and snacks in multiple schools.

The role requires basic math, strong customer service, and the ServSafe certification is preferred. You will assist with food preparation, serving lines, labeling, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and clientele.
• ServSafe certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a districtwide floating substitute, providing coverage at any Natick Public Schools location as needed.
• Assist Cook Supervisor with any preparation needs.
• Set up serving lines and manage portions.
• Label and date food items properly and maintain logs.
• Handle cash and make change accurately.
• Restock supplies and maintain clean serving areas.
