Job summary

Westonka Public Schools is seeking a Kitchen Assistant I at Westonka High School. This part-time role runs 4 hours daily from 9:45am to 1:45pm on student days only, with the start date of September 8, 2026. A background check is required prior to employment and the position may be filled as openings occur.

The successful candidate will perform food production, cashier duties, meal service, and kitchen cleaning, while providing backup support to the Head Cook. Group B positioning applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Prior computer experience helpful.
