Requires BSN within 5 years of hire, RN licensure, BLS, and 1–2 years of healthcare experience. The nurse will collaborate with school authorities, parents, and multidisciplinary teams while upholding hospital policies.

Qualifikationen

• RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides school health services as directed by department and contracts.
• Provides clinical care including routine, special needs, and emergency first aid.
• Maintains student health records and documents services rendered.
• Participates in educational efforts of the department and hospital.
• Communicates effectively with management, parents/guardians, school authorities, and allied personnel.
• Demonstrates care for physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of students served.
• Adheres to departmental/school/state/federal policies and guidelines.
• Other duties as required.
