Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role emphasizes responsibility, punctuality, and a clean driving record. A CDL with passenger endorsement may be required for larger vehicles.

The driver will ensure bus safety, perform regular checks, and assist students entering or exiting the bus while upholding a calm, caring demeanor with LifeWise volunteers and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church with aligned doctrine.
• Regular driver’s license and clean driving record for the past 3 years; CDL(P) for 15+ passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
