Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to transport public school students safely to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a mature, responsible individual with a clean driving record and faith alignment with the LifeWise beliefs.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, and hourly, with required background checks and regular background/medical screening. CDL with passenger endorsement is needed for larger vehicles; 21–80 age range applies.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in five years.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver's license; CDL with passenger endorsement for 15+ seat vehicles.
• Age between 21 and 80; above 75 may require additional documentation.
• Pass background check and annual drug/alcohol testing.
• Willing to volunteer in LifeWise classroom when directed.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and safety rules.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and perform basic inspections.
• Refuel and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support students entering/exiting and supervise behavior.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if requested.
