R & May Transportation is seeking a Part-Time School Bus Driver in New Jersey. You will safely transport students to and from school on morning and afternoon routes, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Experienced CDL drivers are encouraged to apply; training opportunities may be available for those aiming to become school bus drivers. This role offers a part-time, school-year oriented schedule with opportunities for extra hours on field trips and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL and clean driving record.
• Must be 23+ years old and able to pass background checks.
• Safety-first driver with reliable, punctual attendance.
• Able to work with children and school staff.
• Willing to complete DOT drug/alcohol testing and field checks.
• Familiarity with GPS directions and school routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting students to and from school.
• Follow assigned routes and maintain schedule.
• Ensure students board and exit safely.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly bus.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Communicate delays or issues to dispatch.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures.
