R & May Transportation in New Jersey is seeking part-time school bus drivers to safely transport students to and from school on a consistent, weekday schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking steady part-time work with predictable hours and additional earning opportunities through field trips and extracurricular transportation.

Experienced CDL drivers are encouraged to apply, and training opportunities may be available to qualified candidates aiming to become school bus drivers.

Formación

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Have a valid Commercial Driver's License and a safe driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Enjoy working with children.
• Able to complete background checks and school transportation requirements.
• Able to meet NJ MVC, Department of Education, and DOT requirements.
• Willing to complete drug and alcohol testing.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transporting students to and from school.
• Following assigned routes and maintaining scheduled pickup and drop-off times.
• Ensuring students board and exit the vehicle safely.
• Maintaining a safe and orderly environment while students are on board.
• Performing required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Reporting vehicle concerns or mechanical issues promptly.
• Following all traffic laws, school transportation regulations, and company safety procedures.
• Maintaining communication with dispatch and operations regarding delays or route issues.
