Ampersand Therapy LLC in University Place, WA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time, school-based position starting January 2027 after winter break. The role focuses on primary-level students and offers collaboration with a dedicated school team to support communication, confidence, and connection.

The position requires a WA license and ESA certification, with a 0.5 FTE schedule. Eligible benefits apply to 0.8 FTE and above, with paid licensure support and district onboarding.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Washington State SLP license
• Washington ESA certification in speech-language pathology
• Experience supporting primary or elementary students preferred
• Availability to begin after winter break in January 2027 and work a 0.5 FTE schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language goals
• Use developmentally appropriate activities to support communication and student engagement
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support communication across school routines
• Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning
• Recommend strategies and accommodations that support students’ access to instruction
