Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join our school-based team in Beaumont, TX. This part-time role focuses on improving mobility, independence, and participation within the educational environment through individualized therapy and collaborative support.

The PT will evaluate and treat students, collaborate with teachers and families, and contribute to IEP goals while maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license
• Experience working with children and adolescents
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student success
• Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
