Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services to students in a school-based special education setting in Eastpoint, FL. The ideal candidate will have pediatric or school-aged experience and be passionate about helping students improve functional mobility and gross motor skills within educational environments.

This W2 local contract runs 08/31/2026 through 05/27/2027, with 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Educational/Teacher Certification if required by the state Department of Education.
• School-based or pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students' gross motor and physical development related to accessing the educational curriculum.
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to address each student's unique needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technologies to support students with physical and cognitive disabilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote carryover of therapy goals across settings.
• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with school district guidelines and state practice regulations.

Education
