Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions in Arlington, WA is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide related therapy services in a public school setting. You will work with students receiving special education services to support their development toward IEP goals.

The role involves assessments across fine motor, sensory integration, and self-care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and implementing individualized education programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid State Occupational Therapy License.
• Educational/Teacher Certification if mandated by state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, therapists, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver therapy sessions through individual, group, or consultative models based on IEP requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support student independence and participation in the academic environment.
