Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions seeks an Occupational Therapist for a school-based position in Lake Orion, MI to support students with IEP goals and developmental needs.

The role involves conducting assessments, collaborating with teachers and families, developing IEPs, and delivering therapy in individual, group, or consultative formats, with documentation and progress reporting as part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• NBCOT certification.
• Valid State Occupational Therapy License.
• Educational/Teacher Certification if mandated by state guidelines.
• Experience in pediatrics, sensory integration, neurodevelopmental therapy preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments using diagnostic tools to evaluate fine motor, visual-motor, perceptual, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, therapists, and families.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals and objectives tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver therapy sessions through individual, group, or consultative models based on IEP requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Support student independence and participation in the academic environment.
