Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services to students in a school-based special education setting in Griffin, GA. The ideal candidate will support pediatric populations, focusing on mobility and gross motor skills within educational environments.

The position requires a state PT license and a Master’s or Doctoral degree, with school-based experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Educational/Teacher Certification if required by the state Department of Education
• School-based or pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students' gross motor and physical development related to accessing the educational curriculum
• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to address each student's unique needs
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technologies to support students with physical and cognitive disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote carryover of therapy goals across settings
• Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Ensure compliance with school district guidelines and state practice regulations

Position Overview
