Boothby Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Bangor, ME. This is a part-time role for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students in a public school setting (K–12).

Responsibilities include providing OT services, conducting evaluations and assessments, developing and implementing IEP goals, and delivering individual and small group therapy. The role offers compensation of $40–$50 per hour, three days per week, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active Maine Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group).
• Support students with fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, executive functioning, and ADLs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs.
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
