Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) for school-based positions in Maine. We offer full- and part-time positions for the 2026-2027 school year supporting students in public school / special education settings.

Position located in Maine with school-based settings (K–12). Competitive pay and collaborative teams with a Service Delivery Manager, plus opportunities for future placements.

Qualifications

• Active Maine OT license required.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group sessions).
• Support fine motor skills and handwriting.
• Assist with sensory processing and sensory integration.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs.
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
