The ideal candidate holds an active Maine OT license and a degree in occupational therapy, with interest in pediatrics and strong collaboration with teachers, SLPs, and PTs.

Qualifications

• Active Maine OT license (required).
• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or OTD).
• Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students.
• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.
• Deliver direct therapy (individual and small group sessions).
• Support students with: fine motor skills and handwriting; sensory processing and sensory integration; executive functioning and organization; ADLs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, PTs, and SLPs.
• Recommend accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
