Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for our Before and After School Program at Bethel Elementary School and Penn-Bernville Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year.

This part-time, non-exempt role offers employer-paid childcare, a schedule following the school calendar, and opportunities to lead STEAM, fitness, and academic activities while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
• Medically fit to perform job duties including a clear TB
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Licensing Leadership: Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations
• Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite
• Keep the program organized and audit-ready
• Program & Staff Leadership: Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support)
• Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversight
• Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management
• Operations & Communication: Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling
• Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office
• Communicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App
