Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Director for Park Elementary School's before and after school program for the 2026-2027 school year. The role offers part-time, non-exempt hours aligned to the school calendar.

Responsibilities include leading activities, supervising staff, handling attendance and scheduling, and ensuring PA DHS/OCDEL compliance. Employer-paid childcare and additional benefits support work–life balance.

Qualifications

• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks.
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties including a clear TB.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations.
• Maintain child and staff files, attendance records, and required documentation onsite.
• Keep the program organized and audit-ready.
• Lead engaging activities (STEAM, fitness, academics, arts, homework support).
• Actively supervise children and staff, including playground oversight.
• Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management.
• Oversee daily attendance, registration, and scheduling.
• Serve as liaison between families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office.
• Communicate clearly and professionally using the Playground App.
