Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for the Before and After School Program at Bethel Elementary School and Penn-Bernville Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role offers part-time, non-exempt hours with pay $16.00–$18.00 per hour, following the school calendar, with opportunities for morning and/or afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
• Must be medically fit to perform job duties including clear TB
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Licensing Leadership: Ensure full compliance with PA DHS/OCDEL school-age regulations
• Program & Staff Leadership: Lead engaging activities and supervise children and staff
• Operations & Communication: Oversee attendance, registration, scheduling and liaise with families, school administration, and the Healthy Kids main office
• Maintain safe staff-to-child ratios and strong behavior management
• Communicate clearly using the Playground App
