Job summary

Mac Haik Houston Chevy is hiring a part-time Sales Receptionist to greet visitors and manage a multi-line phone system with professionalism. You will direct customers and vendors to the correct dealership resource and support a positive guest experience at first contact.

The role requires punctuality, a neat appearance, and the ability to work Thursday through Saturday, 3PM-9PM, with a focus on courteous service and reliable, consistent hours.

Qualifications

• Six months of receptionist experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the USA.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and determine their needs, escort as needed.
• Operate a multi-line phone system and route calls promptly.
• Take detailed messages and relay them to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain visitor sign-in and conference room schedules.
• Ensure a polite, professional guest experience at first contact.

Part Time Sales Receptionist (Thursday - Saturday)

The Sales Receptionist position answers a multi-line telephone system and greets visitors in a timely, pleasant and professional manner. The Sales Receptionist is responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience at the first point of contact and for directing customers and vendors to the appropriate dealership representative or resource.

Skills / Qualities Preferred Include:

• Must be available Thursday to Saturday, 3PM TO 9PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrive punctually and inform supervisor immediately of any planned or unplanned absences.
• Greet visitors, determine their needs and contact the appropriate department for visitor escort.
• Operate a multi-line phone including answering all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transfer calls to the appropriate person or department quickly, or operating the dealership paging system, calls individuals to the phone.
• Minimize the time callers are on hold and checks back with them frequently to ensure they wish to continue holding.
• Take detailed messages when call cannot be completed; including caller's name, telephone number, time of call, and information requested, and delivers to appropriate party in a timely manner.
• Develop knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquires
• Notify appropriate personnel of any problems with phone system.
• Oversee the visitor sign-in and security process.
• Maintain conference room reservation schedule.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
