Job summary

East Fork Pottery, LLC, Washington, DC, seeks a part-time Sales Associate to join our retail team. You will work with the Store Manager and other associates to meet monthly sales goals, speak knowledgeably about products, and deliver high-quality customer care in a boutique setting.

The role emphasizes brand alignment with our mission and values, with regular performance reviews and opportunities to grow. The position is 20–24 hours weekly, with a weekend and holiday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies from management to reach monthly sales goals.
• Speak knowledgeably about every product carried in the store.
• Demonstrate selling and product knowledge to determine customer needs and offer alternatives.
• Ensure the highest level of customer care.
• Build genuine, lasting relationships with customers via quality interpersonal interactions.
• Align with East Fork Mission, Vision and Values.
• Ensure a positive final impression at the cash wrap by following procedures.
• Understand merchandising guidelines and collaborate to maintain displays.
• Relay inventory needs to Store Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain storefront and storage rooms in general order and cleanliness.
• Assist store management in receiving orders and processing shipments.
• Assist Store Manager in cyclical store inventory counts.
