Job summary

Lumber Liquidators is hiring a part-time sales associate in Lorton, VA. You will drive sales, handle showroom merchandising, and assist customers with product selection and checkout.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Prior flooring knowledge is a plus and forklift certification is required prior to operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of retail or sales experience preferred; flooring knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a bonus.
• Forklift certification required prior to operation.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Sell, upsell, and exceed revenue targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Build lasting relationships that drive repeat business and referrals.
• Merchandise and maintain an inspiring, organized showroom.
• Handle POS transactions, inventory management, and daily store operations.
