Job summary

HandyTube Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Safety Specialist to lead training, administration, and safety program development. The role reports to the EHS manager and requires strong communication and task management skills to foster a safety culture on site.

Responsibilities include delivering trainings (PITs, lifts, cranes, and more), maintaining documentation, supporting EHS programs, and participating in audits and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; safety certifications preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in environmental, health and safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Attention to detail to identify safety compliance errors and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication to conduct training and grow safety culture on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide site training including PITs, Aerial Lift, Crane, PMI Gun, Confined Space Entry, New Hire, Safety trainings.
• Maintain and administer training records and documentation.
• Support development and implementation of EHS programs and policies.
• Participate in audits, safety meetings, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Ensure workplace safety standards comply with regulations and keep personnel safe.
• Respond to emergencies such as workplace accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with associates and other departments to promote safety.
