Pima Medical Institute in Las Vegas is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our CoARC-accredited program as a Part-Time Respiratory Therapist Instructor (16 hours/week). You will translate clinical expertise from the bedside to the classroom and lab, leading simulations and guiding demonstrations to prepare Nevada practitioners.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from a CoARC-accredited program.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lab & Lecture Delivery: Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans, interactive lab sessions, and practical demonstrations tailored to diverse learning styles.
• Simulation Training: Utilize modern simulation technology to create immersive, real-world learning environments for clinical skill mastery.
• Field Integration: Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and clinical site insights to bridge classroom learning with bedside practice.
• Retention & Support: Monitor student progress and attendance, mentoring to support an 80%+ student success rate.
• Academic Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate student records, including weekly attendance logs and final course grades, in compliance with policy.
• Accreditation Compliance: Ensure all instructional activities adhere to CoARC accreditation standards and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
