Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Instructor for a part-time schedule. The role offers up to 30 hours per week, on-site, with competitive hourly pay of $35.00–$38.75.

You will mentor students and translate clinical expertise into engaging lectures and labs. Ideal candidates hold an RRT credential, Arizona RCP license, and at least three years of RT experience, plus an associate degree (bachelor's preferred).

• Active RRT credential and Arizona RCP license.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and educational software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, labs, and hands-on demonstrations.
• Plan daily lessons aligned with program objectives.
• Coordinate guest speakers and clinical externships.
• Monitor student performance and provide advising.
• Track attendance and manage progress records.
• Grade assignments and prepare final grades.
