Job summary

Town of North Attleborough is seeking a part-time Route Coordinator for district-wide transportation. The role schedules routes, acts as dispatcher for specialized transportation staff, assigns substitute coverage, and notifies drivers of route changes.

The Route Coordinator also schedules staff for field trips, participates in meetings with Student Services, and performs other duties as assigned. Salary/Benefits are per the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all specialized routes and maintains them throughout the school year.
• Acts as a dispatcher for our specialized transportation staff and assigns substitute coverage.
• Notifies drivers regarding route changes.
• Schedules staff to fulfill field trip requests.
• Participates in meetings with Student Services as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
