Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College’s Advanced Technology Training Center seeks a Part-Time Support Staff to assist the YTA program by providing learning support to high school students and helping with outreach, enrolment, and retention in the College Credit Plus program. You will support hands-on robotics and drones activities.

This role involves coordinating with program staff, proctoring college-level classes in high schools, and helping students with technology tools and competitions, while

Qualifications

• Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of the community.
• Ability to determine needs and identify solutions.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key contacts to enhance workflow and quality.
• Fundamental knowledge of technology learning platforms and related procedures.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Coordinators with recruitment of students for YTA.
• Train students for YTA.
• Assist students in YTA logistical matters.
• Facilitate and proctor college-level classes in high schools.
• Facilitate student technology competitions.
• Act as YTA liaison in the community and high schools.
• Assist in technology training as necessary.
• Assist all staff as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
