Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College seeks a part-time adjunct faculty member in Advanced Manufacturing & Computer Science. You will teach Electrical Engineering Technology courses and labs, including analog/digital electronics, PLC, PCB layout, and embedded software, and assist with course development.

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required; a master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics theories and lab applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced communication and organizational skills
  • Responds to community needs

Responsibilities

  • Teach a full range of Electrical Engineering Technology courses and labs (analog electronics, digital electronics, PLC, embedded software)
  • Prepare and deliver learning activities to achieve course outcomes
  • Prepare syllabi, homework, handouts and course materials
  • Evaluate and grade students’ work and maintain attendance/records
  • Be available to students for coaching and periodic meetings with supervisors and College staff
