Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley is seeking a Youth Development Specialist- Technology to supervise and engage members with high-yield technology activities. This part-time role, 10-25 hours weekly, under the Program Director, focuses on safe, outcome-driven programming in coding, robotics, and design.

The ideal candidate will develop and facilitate tech programs, support volunteers, and help showcase youth projects through events while upholding the club’s mission, values, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with youth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and cooperative working skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite; comfortable with new tech.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes, and facilitates programs and activities using a formal curriculum.
• Directly runs programming and high-yield activities in the assigned area.
• Facilitate technology-focused programming for youth of all ages and skill levels (coding, robotics, design).
• Plan and coordinate technology showcases/events to display youth projects.
• Administers outcome measurement tools.
• Delivers programs with enthusiasm and high energy.
