Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking two Part-Time Support Staff to assist the Learning Commons at the Eastern Campus. Responsibilities include testing services, tutoring coordination, library circulation support, and AV/tech event assistance.

Position requires at least a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of office/customer service experience. Bachelor’s preferred; AV experience and Extron certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with strong customer service experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in an office setting, performing customer service or desktop support functions.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and two years of AV experience with an Extron certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers College tests such as placement and makeup exams on campus and off-site as needed.
• Inputs placement scores into Banner and schedules tutoring, testing, and proctoring appointments.
• Provides support for library circulation desk functions and library reserves, OhioLINK orders, and maintains holdings.
• Provides technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and events; troubleshoots issues and sets up AV equipment.
• Performs training workshops for students, faculty, and staff on site technologies and supervises work-study students.
