Job summary

Success Education Colleges (SEC) seeks part-time instructors to teach LIVE clinical rotations across its nursing programs at partner hospitals and facilities in California. The role requires an active California RN license, five years of nursing experience, and prior teaching or clinical instruction experience is preferred.

The instructor will lead both classroom and lab sessions, ensure safety, and support student learning.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current California license and RN/BSN or MSN prep.
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, with five years in the specialty field.
• Experience in clinical instruction or teaching is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in computer applications: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and facilitate clinical laboratory sessions.
• Teach course loads and prepare/instruct clinical labs.
• Clarify daily clinical expectations with students and clinical staff.
• Assign patients and supervise data collection for clinical documentation.
• Coordinate daily plans with clinical sites to observe and instruct.
• Direct post-conference to apply theory to clinical experiences.
• Evaluate student progress and provide weekly feedback with clear objectives.
• Provide immediate feedback after observation of clinical skills.
