Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team on a part-time basis, 3pm–11:30pm. The role supervises nursing personnel and oversees daily activities under the Director of Nursing to ensure high quality care.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Florida RN license, BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS certification. You should have at least two years of clinical nursing experience and one year of leadership experience, with geriatric or subacute care exposure

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in Florida.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience (preferred).
• One year of geriatrics or subacute care experience.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• English reading/writing/communication proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily nursing care and evaluate staff performance per policies.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings.
• Identify problems in resident care and implement corrective action.
• Provide written and verbal reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for continuity.
