Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Detox Unit in North Stonington, CT. The role includes supervising care, administering medications, and developing treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires CT RN licensure, with weekend and holiday availability. Overtime/holdover shifts may be required, offering opportunities within UHS and its network of facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active CT RN license.
• Minimum one year experience in mental health or substance abuse preferred.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Overtime and holdover shifts may be required.

Responsabilités

• Provide continuous care and supervision on the Detox Unit as part of the treatment team.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Assess clients on admission and as needed; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to support patient goals and safety.
