Job summary

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Worcester to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across family planning, abortion services, triage, and follow-up support. The RN will uphold nursing standards and regulatory guidelines while serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, IV care, triage, and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in sexual and reproductive health preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stay active throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across family planning, abortion services, recovery, and follow-up.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, IV care, and support procedures.
• Manage triage, labs, prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up per established protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support after-hours patient needs.
• Educate and counsel patients in a clear, supportive, and nonjudgmental manner.
• Collaborate with care teams, support clinic flow, and assist with coordination and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all regulatory and safety standards.
