Job summary

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts (PPLM) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across family planning, abortion care, recovery, and follow-up services. The RN ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and state requirements, while serving as a clinical role model for staff and interns.

The role includes on-call nursing, post-procedure care, clinical audits, and ongoing knowledge of nursing best practices.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current, unrestricted Massachusetts RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Clinical experience in sexual and reproductive health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions, assessments, counseling, discharge, and recovery room set-up per protocols.
• Administer prescribed medications per orders and standing orders.
• Assess and manage post-procedure outcomes with providers.
• Perform venipuncture and point-of-care testing.
• Provide RN-led family planning visits and contraception counseling.
