Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Downtown Medical Group—Sleep and Resp Suite 500E. The role supports pulmonary care, with the shift Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30 and Friday 7:30-12, totaling 30 hours weekly.

The position requires nursing licensure, BLS/ACLS, and clinic or acute hospital experience; BSN is preferred. Generous benefits and on-site work are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid RN license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtain and document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors and assess disease condition.
• Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
• Administer medications and monitor treatment progress; refer to physicians or other providers as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of conditions.
• Document assessment and intervention data in medical records/electronic systems.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data and monitor care management.
