Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a licensed RN for the Downtown Medical Group–Sleep and Resp Suite 500E in Billings, MT. This part-time RN role (30 hours) supports the pulmonary team, with shifts Mon–Thu 7:30–4:30 and Fri 7:30–12, rotating day off.

Core duties include patient assessment, education, and care coordination in an outpatient setting. Requirements: accredited nursing program graduate, Montana RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year clinic/acute care experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid RN license in the state.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• One year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care following standards and procedures.
• Obtain consent and document patient information with confidentiality.
• Assess health history, vital signs, and risk factors; evaluate disease condition.
• Provide patient care per guidelines, standards, and regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor progress and patient response.
• Refer to physicians and resources to address concerns.
• Educate patients and families on health status and management.
• Document data in medical records and systems.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care and outcomes.
• Track quality assurance data for acute and chronic care management.
