Trinity Health is seeking an RN Registered Nurse Coordinator - Patient Placement to manage inpatient bed flow and lead patient placement efforts in our acute care setting.

The role requires collaboration with care teams, application of clinical criteria, utilization management, and leadership support. Part-time, 12-hour day shifts with occasional weekend commitments; contingent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred; newly hired staff must obtain BSN within five years.
• Licensure: Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Prior leadership experience (Shift Coordinator, Team Leader, committee work) in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient access to clinically appropriate level of care with care team using clinical criteria, utilization management and managed care processes.
• Evaluate care based on quality, access and cost-effectiveness.
• Serve as a leadership resource as needed.
