vettergrandislecareers is seeking an MDS Assistant for part-time days (16 hours/week). RNs with CPR certification are encouraged to apply, bringing integrity, compassion, and a positive image to our team.

You will interact daily with residents, guests, family members and team members, contributing to a culture of learning and growth in an exceptional environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patients' health in accordance with medical laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Collecting patient data and organizing information into reports for research.
• Communicating with health care teams to create care plans for patients.
• Ensuring patients have access to medical resources.
• Making recommendations for patient support and facility operations to integrate nursing procedures.
• Providing support and coverage for other nurses during absences or illnesses

MDS Nurse Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients' health in accordance with medical laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Collecting patient data and organizing the information into reports for further research.
• Communicating with health care teams to create applicable health care plans for patients.
• Ensuring that patients have access to all the medical resources they need.
• Making recommendations for patient support and healthcare facility operations to ensure that patient care procedures are integrated in accordance with medical law.
• Providing support and coverage for other nurses in case of absence or illness.

MDS Nurse Requirements:

• Registered Nurse
• CPR Certified
• MDS experience perferred, but not required in long term care
• Working knowledge of data processing programs such as Point Click Care.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• The ability to process a high volume of data.
• The ability to make independent judgments utilizing initiative, discretion, and the nursing process, as needed.
