Tiffany Square in Grand Island, Nebraska seeks a part-time MDS Coordinator. You will work 16 hours per week as a Registered Nurse with CPR certification, supporting residents with accurate data and care planning.

Responsibilities include assessing residents, collecting data for reports, coordinating with care teams, ensuring access to medical resources, and providing coverage for colleagues as needed. This role offers a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the United States.
• Must be a Registered Nurse with CPR certification.
• Experience with MDS in long-term care preferred.
• Proficient with data processing programs (Point Click Care).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Capacity to handle a high volume of data.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor residents' health in accordance with laws and guidelines.
• Collect patient data and organize into reports for research.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop applicable care plans.
• Ensure residents have access to medical resources.
• Recommend patient support and facility operations improvements.
• Provide coverage for other nurses as needed.

MDS Nurse Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients' health in accordance with medical laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Collecting patient data and organizing the information into reports for further research.
• Communicating with health care teams to create applicable health care plans for patients.
• Ensuring that patients have access to all the medical resources they need.
• Making recommendations for patient support and healthcare facility operations to ensure that patient care procedures are integrated in accordance with medical law.
• Providing support and coverage for other nurses in case of absence or illness.

MDS Nurse Requirements:

• Registered Nurse
• CPR Certified
• Preferred MDS experience in long term care
• Working knowledge of data processing programs such as Point Click Care.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• The ability to process a high volume of data.
• The ability to make independent judgments utilizing initiative, discretion, and the nursing process, as needed.
