Job summary

The Valley Health System's Summerlin Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to provide safe, competent nursing care and lead the healthcare team in a busy acute care setting. You will support patient-centered care, supervise staff, and uphold service excellence standards across shifts.

RN licensure in Nevada and BLS/PALS/NRP as required are essential; BSN is preferred. Pre-employment assessments may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
