Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe patient care and lead a healthcare team within a busy acute care setting.

Responsibilities include applying patient-centered care principles, supervising staff, and upholding service excellence standards. Nevada RN license, BLS, and relevant pediatric/neonatal certifications may be required by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Nevada; BLS required; PALS or NRP as applicable.
• Pre-employment assessment may be required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care according to facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team; oversee staff under supervision.

Education
