Job summary

The Valley Health System, including Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care in a busy acute care setting. The role offers professional leadership and collaboration across the healthcare team to maintain high standards of care.

Eligible candidates are NV-licensed RNs, with BLS and PALS/NRP as required. BSN preferred; must pass any required pre-employment assessments and join a progressive health system committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Nevada; BLS certification; PALS or NRP as required by department.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Patient Centered Care as the foundation of all nursing care.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates service excellence.
