Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Bend, OR is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our local assistive home care team. This role focuses on mentoring others, coordinating care, and delivering nursing services with a flexible schedule.

If you prefer less bedside duty and more teaching, this is the opportunity to grow with a supportive group. Expect to work 10–30 hours weekly, with office time and visits to client homes.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon state RN license.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record.
• 1 year of home care/home health experience or 1 year in SNF/ICU/Med-Surg.

Responsibilities

• Admit clients needing nursing services and medication administration.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor client progress.
• Delegate tasks to caregivers while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop and update individualized care plans.
• Supervise LPNs and ensure high-quality care.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team.
• Document nursing services and maintain records.
• Deliver training to caregivers to improve skills.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Ensure adherence to agency policies and regulations.
