Job summary
Family Resource Home Care in Bend, OR is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to support our Bend assistive home care branch. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for teaching and mentorship while stepping away from bedside routines.
Responsibilities include admitting clients, performing nursing assessments, delegating tasks, developing care plans, supervising LPNs, documenting services, and training caregivers. Office-based work predominates with home visits as needed.
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license.
- Background check (state and national) can be cleared.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
- 1 year of home care/home health OR SNF/ICU/Med-Surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Admit clients needing medication administration and nursing services.
- Perform nursing assessments, monitor client progress, and coordinate care.
- Delegate nursing tasks to caregivers, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Lead development and updating of individualized care plans.
- Provide guidance to LPNs and ensure high quality care delivery.
- Maintain clear communication with team and clients.
- Review documentation and record nursing services and interactions.
- Deliver training and education to caregivers to enhance skills.
- Participate in meetings to stay informed and engaged.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure adherence to agency policies and regulations.
