Westborough Behavioral is seeking a part-time Nursing House Supervisor to oversee nursing care on the assigned shift. The role ensures high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care, staff supervision, and effective communication with leadership.

The incumbent will perform 12-hour shift handoffs, supervise admissions flow, monitor safety and infection control, and provide direct patient care as needed while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLNAC or CCNE accredited nursing program.
• BSN/MSN degree preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in acute psychiatric setting with leadership ability.
• Current MA RN license, CPR and CPI certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire). Must be 21 years of age, have a current negative TB test or medical clearance.

Responsabilités

• Oversees nursing staff and units on the assigned shift to ensure quality care.
• Communicates with nursing directors and floor staff; provides effective reporting/handoff at end of each 12 hour shift.
• Represents administration during assigned shift and communicates issues promptly to key staff.
• Oversees admission process flow for safety and expediency and performs nursing assessments as needed.
• Supervises hospital wide patient care during the assigned shift and provides direct patient care as needed.
• Participates in activities for professional growth and development; seeks training opportunities.
