Job summary

The Nursing House Supervisor at Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital oversees nursing staff and patient care on the assigned shift, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant nursing services within regulatory standards. This part-time role focuses on effective communication with leadership and floor staff and maintaining patient safety across units.

The position requires leadership, a Massachusetts RN license, and CPI/ CPR certifications, with 21+ age and TB clearance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLNAC or CCNE accredited nursing program. BSN/MSN preferred.
• Current MA RN license, CPR and CPI certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Must be 21 years of age with a current negative TB test or medical clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff and units on the assigned shift to ensure safety and quality care.
• Communicates with nursing directors and DON; maintains effective leadership and staff relations.
• Provides appropriate handoffs and reporting at the end of each 12-hour shift.
• Oversees admission flow, conducts nursing assessments in Intake as needed.
• Ensures facility safety, infection prevention, and adherence to policies.
